The ACT4ALL project (MIS 6006438), aims to strengthen the preparedness and resilience of The project focuses on strengthening the preparedness and resilience of communities in Crete and Cyprus through a series of actions centered on education, awareness, and support for volunteers, citizens, and specific target groups. The procurement of specialized equipment, such as transport vehicles for people with disabilities and 4x4 vehicles, enhances the operational capacity of civil protection agencies. The training and networking of volunteers through workshops will equip them with the necessary knowledge for emergency management, while a digital platform will facilitate their collaboration and communication in operational response situations. Awareness-raising activities will target a wider audience, including specialized groups such as the tourism sector and the school community, providing valuable information on disaster prevention and response. A pilot preparedness exercise will offer an opportunity to apply acquired knowledge in real-life conditions, fostering the exchange of expertise between Crete and Cyprus. Overall, the project promotes solidarity and cooperation, reinforcing community resilience and preparedness for natural disasters, thereby contributing to the safety and well-being of the cross-border region.
In the ACT4ALL project, a total of four beneficiaries from Greece and Cyprus participate, as follows:

The total project budget amounts to € 1,523,660.
It is funded by the INTERREG VI-A Greece-Cyprus 2021-2027 Cooperation Programme and falls under Specific Objective SO2.4: "Promoting climate change adaptation, risk prevention and disaster resilience, taking into account ecosystem-based approaches."
